Our church has worked faithfully to serve the Lord since the late 1800’s, when it was known as Nina Missionary Baptist Church.  In 1885, the first Church building was completed.  Unfortunately, extensive weather damage created the need for a new building, which was completed in 1949.  Although the congregation built to accomodate the growth, they felt sure that God had more in store for their Church family.  By 1964, a new educational building was neccessary and a fellowship hall was added in 1981. As God continues to bless this congregation, and as our numbers continue to grow (almost doubling between 1966 and 2006), we have once again seen the need to expand!  We broke ground on a new sanctuary in 1998.  On October 15, 2006, we rejoiced in what God has accomplished through those who trust in him.  Celebration Sunday saw us move into our new Sanctuary built on the cornerstone of Christ Jesus. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone.  In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.  Ephesians 2: 19-21 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
